Ms. Tatu Juma Mikidadi

Biography
Ms. Tatu Juma Mikidadi is the Head of the ICT Unit at the PPP Centre, where she leads the integration of technology solutions to improve the efficiency and transparency of PPP projects in Tanzania. With over 18 years of experience from both public sector as well as private sector, she has been key in developing systems that support the financial and operational frameworks necessary for successful projects. Her expertise in information systems plays a crucial role in advancing Tanzania's PPP agenda, ensuring that digital infrastructure aligns with national development goals.
Ms. Mikidadi is a certified Chief Information Security Officer - CISO and a Certified PPP Professional - CP3P, having led numerous large-scale government financial system implementations at the Ministry of Finance, including the Treasury Single Account (TSA) and the Tanzania Instant Payment System (TIPS). She has worked closely with the Central Bank of Tanzania to integrate government financial systems with national payment platforms of the Bank, streamlining financial processes. Additionally, she has overseen the automation of government accounting systems for Tanzanian embassies abroad, enhancing the management of public funds. Her work extends to formulating government-wide information system guidelines and strategies. She holds a Master’s in Information Systems from Curtin University, Australia, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (First Class) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
