PPPC announce Investment opportunities by way of venture

PPPC ANNOUNCE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES BY WAY OF VENTURE TOWARDS CHAN 2025 AND AFCON 2027 Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Honorable Dr. Doto Biteko, has recently opened a special session to discuss economic opportunities and preparations for the CHAN 2025 and AFCON 2027 competitions. In that session, Dr. Biteko noted that the preparation of the competition is a great opportunity to strengthen infrastructure and increase cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Speaking about the importance of investment through partnerships, the CEO of the Partnership Center (PPPC), Mr. David Kafulila, said that the Partnership system (PPP) is the best way to reduce the financial burden on the government while bringing experience, technology, and efficiency to run various projects. "The partnership is a great opportunity. We call on the government authorities to advertise areas with investment opportunities and welcome investors, especially as we head towards the AFCON 2027 tournament," said Kafulila. According to Kafulila, a special visit by PPPC experts to Dar es Salaam City Councils, including Temeke, Ilala, Kinondoni, Kigamboni, and Ubungo, has identified many areas with investment opportunities in the sports sector and others. Dar es Salaam has been named as the center of economic attractions that can stimulate development towards the great competition of the African continent.
In addition, Dr. Biteko explained the progress of preparations for the Energy Conference of African Heads of State to be held on 27 and 28 January 2025 at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Center (JNICC), in the city of Dar es Salaam. The preparations have reached 95 percent, including the renovation of the JNICC hall and the scenic view of the city. The meeting is expected to be attended by the leaders of 54 African countries, the Ministers of Finance and Energy, as well as the Presidents of the World Bank (WB) and the African Development Bank (AfDB). "The selection of Tanzania to host this great meeting is the result of the diplomatic efforts of the President, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan," added Dr. Biteko. Kafulila also explained that the implementation of joint venture projects can be done through various methods, while the method of direct investment (direct negotiations) is said to be easier. This method allows the investor to apply for his project directly if he meets the legal criteria without competing. internationally with great success.
