"All the required logistics for kick-starting a vigorous VISION 2050 full implementation are there, but these alone cannot make VISION 2050, a reality but our force, our brains, our will, our capital and anything we have which we must put into the process of executing the VISION 2050. In this stage, in this critical juncture the private sector must stand out to be counted by massively getting into the game and play her extra critical role," thundered the President.

President, Dr SAMIA acknowledged that there is a need for a firm partnership between the government katika and the private sector giving assurance that the government on her part is readily available to engage with the private sector through dialogue, support and anything required out of the state machinery.

VISION 2050 PUBLIC EDUCATION CRUCIAL

Turning on the need for public participation towards realising the 2050 VISION, the President, made it clear that on top of the government and private sector partnership, the pair needs public support which unfortunately can not be realised without the latter having understating of the VISION 2050.

"The government mighty play her role successfully with the private sector too coming in beautiful, but if there will be no public support we might get stuck in the middle of the journey towards VISION 2050 realization. She called on all state and private agencies linked to the VISION 2050 to see how best they can reach out to the public by rolling out a gingatic and well planned public education drive at the soonest possible time.

"I am of the view that with a well crafted public education campaign each and every Tanzanian he/she will understand the VISION 2050 hence be able to play her/his role effectively and efficiently. More with an effective public education campaign on, we will be able not only to win our countrymen but prevent distortion by negative elements," concluded President, Dr SAMIA
